This book was well written making it very enjoyable to read and engaging. It's filled with teen/young adult drama and real life hard decisions, experiences, and consequences. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is interested in this genre of book!
I had the pleasure of reading this book before publication. The author's depiction of real life situations from the minds of young adults is amazing.
Mustang Vincent lead a regular life filled with chaos and love within a large family. After the unexpected heartbreak of loosing his father, he understood how a moment could change everything. How a single second could create a change so big it alters lives. Left with the responsibility of helping to raise four younger siblings, and relying on his twin sister Sunday for security, Mustang strives to accept the new changes in his life.
While on the path of falling in love with his friend, Cherries, he watches as her life takes an unexpected turn. One that circles from her past decisions. He finds himself helpless in her own discovery. But when Cherries' past decisions directly impact Mustang's friend Grady, he is there to pick up the pieces as Grady's decisions impact Mustang and Sundays life as well.
The story unfolds in a heart wrenching tale of secrets, connection, and life altering decisions that these four young adults must face. The character development in this novel is written so well and I felt like I was right there with each character. I laughed. I cried. All around awesome.
I could not put this book down once I started reading it!
Each character is well developed and I feel like I know each of them personally! I hope the author writes another soon!
